“Core” Band Classes Offered:
- 4 Leveled Concert Bands (full year elective class during the school day)
- Brass Freshmen: Sign up for “Intermediate Band” (MUS 310)
- Woodwind Freshmen: Sign up for “JV Band” (MUS 320)
- Beginners (not sure what instrument you want to play yet): Sign up for “Intermediate Band” (MUS 310)
- 4 Leveled Percussion Ensembles (full year elective class during the school day)
- Percussion Freshmen: Sign up for “Percussion” (MUS 335)
- World Music Class (Steel Band) Full Year (MUS 670)
“Extra” Band Classes Offered:
- Marching Band (0 Hour – 1st semester only)
- Must be also signed up for a concert band or percussion ensemble class (except color guard members)
- Sign up for “Marching Band” (MUS 300Z) on the ZERO HOUR line
- There is no zero hour fee of $175 for marching band
- Sign up even if you are unsure if you will do it
- Jazz Band (0 Hour – 2nd semester only)
- Must be also signed up for a concert band or percussion class.
- Sign up for “Jazz Band” (MUS 355Z) on the ZERO HOUR line
- Sign up even if you are unsure if you will do it
- World Music Class – Steel Drum Band (0 Hour – 2nd semester only)
- Must be also signed up for a concert band or percussion class.
